Last Friday the lab celebrated with Jonathan Rubianto after he successfully defended his Master’s thesis. During the chat, he reflected on his time in the lab and shared some thoughts about his plans for the future.
“It has been my privilege to have been able to do my Masters in the Santerre Lab over the past couple of years. The guidance and mentorship I received from Dr. Santerre and the friendships I have made in the lab are irreplaceable. Everyone that has gone through the Santerre Lab knows that there is always someone ready to help that has the exact expertise and solution to the problem at hand.
Through my experience I gained valuable skills in material fabrication, biocompatibility assessments and engineering design that will enable me as I transition into the medical device development industry. I look forward to what the future holds for me as I venture forth into my new role as a Research and Development Engineer.”
We wish you all the very best Jonathan!
