Congratulations to Monir Riasad Fadle Aziz on his successful defence of his MASc thesis! Read about his experience in the lab below, and we wish him all the best in his future endeavours.
“It is a privilege to have been a part of the Santerre lab for my M.A.Sc. at U of T. I am grateful for the exposure to the talented, friendly individuals in the lab coupled with Dr. Santerre’s invaluable mentorship. This has enabled me to transition my career into semiconductor and materials engineering in the healthcare industry. The broad-spectrum nature of the BME program with its multidisciplinary courses running in tandem with my training has enabled me to develop key skills in R&D, project and process management, business development, and diplomatic communications.
The future holds many possibilities from here. However, I see myself working on creatively solving complex engineering problems in the healthcare space; with a focus on the development and commercialization of medical technologies.“
